Brownells today announced the expansion of its VALOR Program, a law enforcement initiative designed to help agencies and officers keep duty equipment serviceable and ready when needed, at pricing below standard retail.
Equipment reliability directly impacts officer safety and day-to-day performance. The VALOR Program prioritizes long-term sustainment of firearms, parts, and duty gear rather than one-time purchases. It solves common challenges such as hard-to-find replacement components and fragmented sourcing across multiple vendors by drawing on Brownells' extensive catalog and deep industry experience.
The VALOR Program delivers access to quality replacement parts, armorer-grade tools, and technical support for both current-issue and legacy platforms.
Individual officers receive:
• Verified law enforcement pricing through ID.me, reduced from standard retail
• Access to a broad catalog of firearms parts, maintenance supplies, and duty gear across more than 1,200 brands, including hard-to-find components for common platforms like the Remington 870 shotgun
• Tools and technical products to keep personally owned and issued equipment serviceable
Agencies and departments receive:
• A single reliable source for replacement parts, maintenance supplies, and duty equipment
• Support for sustaining gear over its full-service life, including legacy systems
• Direct engagement for agency-specific needs, such as customized equipment, training, range support, and items beyond standard commercial offerings
• Fewer vendors to manage and simpler purchasing
The VALOR Program builds on Brownells' more than 85 years of experience supporting law enforcement with firearms, parts, and technical expertise, particularly for platforms that remain in service long after original manufacturers discontinue support.
Brownells appointed Bill Hampstead, with 23 years of U.S. federal law enforcement experience working alongside officers, armorers, trainers, and agency leadership, to lead the VALOR Program.
"When equipment goes down, officers take on unnecessary risk," said Hampstead. "VALOR exists to help agencies and officers keep their gear reliable and ready, without paying full retail prices."
The VALOR Program continues to expand nationwide as a trusted sustainment partner for the law enforcement community.
Individual officers and service members can access the program by visiting Brownells.com and verifying eligibility through ID.me. Agencies and departments seeking more information or customized support can contact Bill Hampstead at bill.hampstead@brownells.com.
