As the next step in their growth program, MINOX USA Sport Optics has named Jay Pitassi director of sales and marketing for the hunting and outdoor division, according to Thorsten Kortemeier, managing director/CEO of the parent company in Germany.

Pitassi brings 22 years of sales management experience with major companies in the outdoor and firearms field, including more than 15 years with Beretta USA. As director of sales and marketing, he consistently achieved increased sales volume and maintained a high level of account retention.

His work at Beretta with law enforcement and federal government fits well with the MINOX introduction of new lines of tactical riflescopes designed to meet increased demands from both military and law enforcement for more technologically advanced 'scopes.
