Firmware Update 3.3: More Ballistic Options for Thermion 2 LRF Line

(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – With the newest firmware update 3.3, Pulsar is adding more versatility and ballistic options to its flagship thermal riflescopes line, the Thermion 2 LRF. After releasing the same update for the non-LRF versions, the brand is now enabling optional manual distance input in the LRF models. Just like the previously released firmware update for the Thermion 2 non-LRF line, its main goal is to enhance the precision of hunters as well as provide them with more options to choose from.

To start using ballistic calculations inside your Thermion 2 LRF riflescope, update your riflescope with the newest firmware via the Stream Vision 2 app and follow these steps:

·First, connect your scope to the Stream Vision Ballistics mobile application.

·Once there, create up to ten ballistic profiles and upload them directly to your riflescope.

·You can now disconnect from the app. From now on, ballistic calculations will be made inside the riflescope.

If you updated your Thermion 2 LRF with Firmware version 3.3, you can now measure the distance to your target with the help of the integrated LRF or to manually input your distance to your target in the short menu of the device.

A suggested point of aim will be instantly visible on your riflescope’s screen.

With the newest Firmware update, you will also be able to use the display dimming function. Found in the main menu of your device, this option enables you to instantly control the brightness of all your display elements. This way, you will be able to minimize visual fatigue when it is pitch-black outside. It will also make you less noticeable to animals.

What’s new in Firmware update 3.3:

·Manual distance input via short menu for ballistic calculations

·Possibility to change SPOA settings:

o Change of reticle color

o Deactivation of the SPOA by double click

·Display dimming: brightness control of all display elements to reduce eye fatigue

·Battery saving: auto turn-off if inactive for more than 30 minutes

·Updated indication of battery level in the status bar

·New languages added: Bulgarian, Finnish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Ukrainian
