Whigham, GA – The following is a message from Scott Trulock of Trulock Choke Tubes.
The founder and president of Trulock Tool Company, George Trulock, passed away due to cancer on June 13, 2022. It was a devastating and heartbreaking loss, and I can't express how much he is missed. You don't replace a man like our Dad, only try to emulate him. With over 45 years in our industry, the wisdom, knowledge and experience he had was immeasurable. My brother Jerrod and I have got some mighty big shoes to fill.
To that point, we will do exactly that – to carry on the principles and examples set by Dad. As we transition into this new chapter of life without George, rest assured that Trulock Tool will continue to strive to be the best in all that we do. We will continue to uphold the same high level of integrity, professionalism, customer service, innovation, and quality of products that speaks to Trulock Choke Tubes.
I thank you for the kind words and condolences so many of you have shared over the past weeks. It speaks volumes about the kind of man George was when so many people, from all over the country, reached out to our family after he passed. It is truly appreciated by all of us.
Thank you for the support, loyalty, and friendship all of you have shown Trulock Tool in the past, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with you in the future.
About Trulock Choke Tubes
George Trulock began manufacturing chokes in 1981 to solve the dilemma of creating a choke system that could be retrofitted into most shotgun barrels without the use of an adaptor or machine tools. His final design launched The Tru-Choke™ style choke tube in 1982. Since then, this proprietary system has been adopted by several shotgun manufacturers as O.E.M. and copied by a number of aftermarket choke makers. TrulockÆ Chokes now stocks approximately 2,000 different choke part numbers and has come a long way from George’s first piece of production equipment, a Warner and Swasey # 2 turret lathe.
TrulockÆ Chokes has grown from a one-man show to a company that employs 30 people producing products 24 hours a day, 5 days per week. Trulock® Choke Tubes is still a family-owned business with George’s sons, Scott and Jerrod, a vital part of the management team.
TrulockÆ Chokes has three goals: to make the best product, to give the best customer service and to have 100 percent customer satisfaction. In the event a customer is not completely satisfied with their purchase, they can return it for a refund or exchange within 60 days from the date of purchase.
