Celerant Provides Firearm Dealers with Training at the 2022 Cumulus Retail Client Conference

Dealers attended virtual conference to learn how to safeguard their gun shop and be more competitive with Celerant’s FFL retail software

Staten Island, NY Celerant Technology, the #1 retail software provider for the firearms industry, recently wrapped up its 2nd annual client conference, #ClientCon22, for dealers using Cumulus Retail. This year’s conference focused on teaching dealers how to streamline ATF compliance, expand product lines and sell more of their distributors’ products in-store and online, and improve range operations– in order to be more competitive in today’s post-pandemic world and in the upcoming year.

“For close to 20 years, we have been hosting client conferences for our enterprise software platform. Considering the tremendous value it brings our larger dealers, last year we decided to bring this benefit to our smaller dealers,” stated Ian Goldman, President and CEO of Celerant Technology. “With current inflation and ATF restrictions, this year’s conference was particularly important as we focused on how dealers can use our software to safeguard their businesses and overcome these challenges.”

In addition to tracks dedicated to in-store and online retail, this year’s conference offered a track dedicated entirely to firearms. The firearms track included eight training sessions with topics ranging from ATF compliance, distributor integrations, online product feeds and drop shipping, buy-trade and consignment, range management and much more. Dealers learned how to streamline compliance and ensure data accuracy by leveraging Celerant’s A&D, e4473 options and integrations for digital storage of 4473s. Dealers also learned how to lean on their distributors to sell more products in-store and online; run their range more efficiently with Celerant’s enhanced range management module that now offers SMS text message reminders and new options for digital waivers; and increase revenue with recurring payment options.

"Celerant’s Cumulus Conference was jam-packed and informative,” stated Jamal Rasheed, Owner of Dragon Swords and Daggers. “It offered a lot of resources and information that any business would need to grow or scale regardless of size in today's economy.”

This year’s event featured many firearm-industry partners that integrate with Cumulus Retail’s point of sale and eCommerce platform, including Fortis, Project ChildSafe by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), Countrywide Sports, SCOPE CLX by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW), Otter Waiver, FastBound, 4473 Cloud, Gun StoreMaster and more. Dealers were able to interact with each partner at their virtual booths, enter into partner raffles, and learn how the integrations can help bring their business to the next level.
