BIRMINGHAM, AL. – Bangers LP, one of the country’s leading shooting sports distributors, is pleased to announce the hiring of Chris Davenport to serve as a Buyer within their purchasing team.

Chris most recently held the position of Product Line Manager with Palmetto State Armory. In this role, Chris managed purchasing and demand planning for the ammunition category across 5 retail locations as well as E-Commerce sales. Previous to working for PSA, Chris served as a Category Manager/Buyer for United Sporting Companies. Over his 6-year career with USC, Chris was responsible for procurement and inventory management for the ammunition category. “We look forward to Chris joining the merchandising team here at Bangers. Chris brings with him a wealth of category management experience and trusted industry relationships within the shooting sports business. His big picture knowledge of our vendor product lines, understanding of our customer needs, and the existing Bangers employee relationships he shares, will allow him to assimilate into the organization very quickly,” states Dennis Donahue, Bangers Vice President of Merchandising. A graduate of Clemson University, Chris and his family currently reside in Little Mountain, SC. He will be working out of the Bangers purchasing office in Chapin, SC.
