Success for the CZ Shooting Team at the IPSC Handgun World Shoot 2025 in South Africa

Eric Grauffel Earns Historic Tenth World Championship Title

The CZ Shooting Team delivered an outstanding performance at the 20th IPSC Handgun World Shoot, held September 11–28 at Frontier Shooting Range in Matlosana, South Africa. Competing against more than 1,800 shooters from 50 countries, the team secured a total of ten medals – four gold, four silver, and two bronze.

CZ was proud to serve as a stage sponsor of this prestigious world championship, continuing its long-standing support as an IPSC Global Partner.

The spotlight of the championship belonged to Eric Grauffel, who once again cemented his legacy by winning the Production Optics Division. This marks his tenth consecutive world championship title, a run that began with his first win as a junior. In a historic father-and-son moment, Robin Grauffel earned his first world championship title in the Junior category of the same division. Both competitors ran the match with CZ Shadow 2 Orange OR pistols.

Other highlights from the CZ Shooting Team include:

  • Production Division: Argentine teammates German Romitelli (silver) and Juan Pablo Duran (bronze) secured the podium, while Camilla Almici (Italy) dominated the Lady category with a gold. Serbian shooter Ljubisa Momcilovic earned silver in the Senior category. All competed with CZ Shadow 2 Orange pistols.
  • Standard Division: Kahlil Adrian Viray (Philippines) took silver, just shy of the top spot. In the Senior category, Josef Rakusan (Czech Republic) captured gold, with teammate Petr Znamenacek adding silver. Competitors shot CZ TS 2 Orange pistols.
  • Open Division: Martina Sera (Czech Republic) finished with a strong bronze in the Lady category using a CZ 75 TS Czechmate pistol.
