McNamara is a US Army veteran whose service includes a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. After leaving the military, he began his professional career as a management consultant before transitioning into the outdoor industry. Since then, he’s demonstrated a consistent track record of success developing and executing effective growth strategies and leading teams, mostly recently with Vista Outdoor.
