GARLAND, TX – True Velocity announced the addition of manufacturing operations veteran Tom Weichel in the position of chief operating officer, further expanding the expertise of the Texas-based advanced technology and manufacturing company’s executive leadership team. The company currently produces proprietary composite ammunition.
Weichel joins True Velocity following a 30-year career in manufacturing operations, engineering, and executive management, most recently serving as vice president of worldwide fabrication operations for Texas Instruments. In three decades of industry experience, Weichel led manufacturing operations in Japan, Germany, and the U.S., managed a multi-billion-dollar annual budget, and oversaw global employee teams numbering in the thousands.
