In an era of dwindling print media in the firearms space, one title continues to thrive and grow. Ever curious, the No Lowballers podcast panel invited Hook & Barrel editor-in-chief John Radzwilla to find out what makes his pub different.
Self-described as “GQ for guns,” Hook & Barrel magazine aims to appeal to the middle-of-the-road gunowner. Radzwilla explains the mission to normalize firearm ownership for the common person.
A big part of this effort is the publication’s frequent celebrity interviews. By showing film, TV and music stars as hunters and gun owners, it helps normalize the shooting sports. It also has the secondary effect of normalizing hunting, fishing and shooting to other celebrities who may hide their favorite past time.
What else does Radzwilla have to say about guns and society? Tune in and find out.
