(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – Sellmark Corporation endorses charities that promote healthy outdoor lifestyles and youth involvement and last month’s GunBroker Charity Auction is a great example. The auction’s contents included a special edition Phoenix Weaponry AR-15, Kopfjäger Reaper Grip, Pulsar Thermion XG50 thermal riflescope and Hornady ammunition. The auction raked in $9,025.00 that will directly benefit the Texas Game Warden Association (TGWA).

The Texas Game Warden Association funds outdoor adventures, experiences and scholarships for disadvantaged youth. Generally, the TGWA pairs a youth with a Texas Game Warden and they embark on a hunting, fishing or conservation trip together. The process could not be simpler: Simply visit www.TGWA.com, go the Programs tab, and research the type of outing that piques your interest. Click on the More tab and then ‘Contact Us’. Call the TGWA and provide the details. Texas Game Wardens are required to engage their communities with meaningful outdoors opportunities, and this charity provides the funding for the game wardens to do their jobs. As a 100-percent volunteer charity, the TGWA is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization.

It is easier to build strong children than to fix broken adults. Sellmark Corporation believes all children should be able to breathe fresh air, enjoy sunshine and spend time in natural surroundings. For youth who lack role models, the noble male and female game wardens of Texas are a blessing. They provide the children with the attention, stimulation and skills children crave.
