Gearfire is proud to congratulate Travis McCamish, Director of Manufacturer Relations, on winning the Cowtown Range Accurized AR Championship by securing first place in the Open Division. McCamish’s elite performance also earned him the top-spot for Overall Match and the title of Season Champion.
Held over two days (October 17-18) at the renowned Cowtown Range in Peoria Arizona, the finale of the monthly Accurized AR Long-Range Precision series brought together top rifle competitors in the region for one of the most demanding MSR/AR-platform events of the year. Shooters were required to engage steel targets at extended distances while transitioning between prone and barricade supported positions. Final scoring was based on both accuracy and time, rewarding shooters who could execute with speed and precision under pressure.
Travis delivered a dominant performance, rising to the top of a highly skilled field and closing out the season as the undisputed champion.
This most recent win adds to a growing list of high-profile competitive accomplishments for Travis. In 2024, he took first place overall at the Arizona State USPSA Championship, where he claimed both the Carry Optics Division and Carry Optics Grand Master Class titles. His resume also includes top finishes at the Koenig-Ruger Precision Rifle Series AG Cup Qualifier and the Precision Rifle Pro Series Southwest Regional Championship.
Chad Seaverns, COO of Gearfire, expressed his pride by stating, “When the dust settled, Travis ended up first place in the open division as well as the overall match and season champion. His achievements reflect the same discipline, focus, and commitment to excellence that he applies inside the organization every day.”
Gearfire proudly recognizes and celebrates Travis’ outstanding performance and his remarkable close to the 2025 competitive season.
