These new automatics feature a modified tanto- or a classic drop-point style blade and come standard with a professional, hand-sharpened edge and black epoxy powder coating. Every blade on the RANCOR IV knives is shaped from Sandvik 14C28N, a premium steel with high molecular strength that is corrosion resistant, tough, and offers dependable edge retention. Bear OPS also includes precision ball bearing washers—a unique option not commonly found on similar knives in this class—to provide super-smooth blade deployment every time.
