(Grand Island, Nebr.) — Hornady® congratulates Sean Murphy and Greg Hamilton on their performance at the Real World Sniper Challenge, April 24-25, 2021 in Refugio, Texas.
Murphy and Hamilton took first place using Hornady 6.5mm 135 gr. A-TIP® Match bullets in their rifles and 9mm 125 gr. HAP® bullets in their pistols.
“This match required many different skillsets such as target detection, planning, memorization and adaptation,” said Murphy. “When it came to shooting, A-TIP bullets gave us consistent performance in the wind and at distance” Murphy added.
A-TIP Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability. In addition, A-TIP bullets are sequentially packaged for the ultimate in consistent performance.
Hornady HAP bullets are modeled after the legendary XTP® bullet design and are further refined into the perfect competition projectile. Bullet jackets, featuring industry leading concentricity combined with precision swaged cores, deliver the very best in accuracy and performance.
