Magnetic digiscoping solutions now available for Leica spotting scopes and Geovid binoculars

Leica Sport Optics USA is proud to announce a new partnership with OLLIN, the Utah-based manufacturer known for its precision-engineered magnetic digiscoping systems. Launching on Monday, 15 September 2025, this collaboration introduces two new products: the OLLIN SNAPSHOT SPOTTER ADAPTER (MSRP $134.99) and the OLLIN SNAPSHOT BINO ADAPTER (MSRP $114.99). Both adapters require use of the OLLIN SNAPCASE (MSRP $44.99), a custom smartphone case with integrated magnetic alignment.

The new adapters combine OLLIN’s patented SNAPSHOT system with Leica’s optical excellence, offering a seamless solution for hunters, guides, and wildlife observers who want to capture and share field moments with ease and precision.

OLLIN was founded in Utah by Nathan Goodworth, whose deep family roots in hunting, fishing, and conservation shaped his vision for a better digiscoping system. The idea took hold after a once-in-a-lifetime bighorn sheep hunt in Idaho’s Lost River Range, when fumbling with traditional gear cost Nathan the chance to capture a rare ram. Determined to create something faster and more reliable, he began sketching, prototyping, and testing, which ultimately led to the launch of OLLIN’s patented SNAPSHOT system. Inspired by the Aztec word meaning “to move and act with full passion and purpose,” OLLIN helps people stay present, connect to the outdoors, and relive the moments that matter.

The SNAPSHOT system consists of two core components: a custom-fit adapter that slides over the eyepiece of the optic, and the SNAPCASE, a smartphone case with an integrated magnetic array aligned to the camera lens. When paired, the system delivers instant, perfectly centered smartphone-to-optic alignment in both landscape and portrait modes, eliminating the need for manual adjustments.

The SNAPSHOT BINO ADAPTER is designed for quick field use with Leica’s Geovid binoculars. It attaches securely to the eyepiece when needed and removes just as easily after use. Unlike spotting scope adapters, a protective cap is not included, as the unit is not intended to remain in place during transit or storage. The adapter is compatible with the Geovid Pro, Geovid R, and Geovid Pro AB+ models.

The SNAPSHOT SPOTTER ADAPTER provides the same ease of use for Leica spotting scopes, featuring OLLIN’s signature magnetic Protective Cap to safeguard the lens from dust and debris when not in use. The adapter is compatible with the APO Televid 65, APO Televid 82, APO Televid 77, Televid HD 65, and Televid HD 82.
