Anniston, AL, US – Creedmoor Sports announces the promotion of Sam Payne to Product Specialist. In this new role, Sam will be supporting Creedmoor Sports’ growth in their private label product lines, material sourcing, supply chain and vendor management, and cross-functional projects with manufacturing and marketing teams. Sam has worked most recently as a Manufacturing Technician at Creedmoor Sports while completing his Master’s Degree at Jacksonville State University.

Sam’s shooting sports knowledge and natural project management abilities will serve him well in this new position and I can’t wait to see him take on a larger role within the organization.” Said John Teachey, Vice President of Operations and Marketing.

Sam comes to Creedmoor Sports with impressive shooting sports credentials. He is a multi-time CMP Rimfire Sporter National Champion, including the reigning champion having won in 2022. Sam was a member of the JSU varsity rifle team, competing in both smallbore and air rifle for four years. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Sam served as the graduate assistant under Head Coach Ron Frost.

I’ve already had the ability to spearhead a couple projects we’ve had in the works and this new role will allow me to do that on a bigger scale with a lot more behind the scenes work as well.
