High-powered airguns have inherent disadvantages for everyday use. Namely, the size and weight of the cylinders can be a subjective deterrent for recreational and quick use. With many manufacturers utilizing bolt styles and pump cylinders, Hatsan has gone against the grain and removed the guardrails limiting fast use and readiness. One of the most notable styles of airguns missing from many lineups is a pistol capable of and accustomed to quick and practical use. Building on this readiness and versatility, Hatsan highlights four air pistols perfect for everyday needs.
Velox
The Velox is a standout pistol perfected in a compact frame. The polymer frame retains exceptional retention with a checkered grip and is available in OD Green, FDE, and Black. The upper receiver is manufactured from steel and is fixed with a precision-rifled and choked German steel barrel. A shroud stabilizes the pistol barrel and provides integrated, adjustable fiber-optic sights. Muzzle threads are ½ UNF threads for easy attachment of potential accessories.
The Velox has features that permit quick refilling of the removable 55cc 250BAR air cylinder and quick magazine removal and replacement for faster shooting and reloading. A quick-fill nozzle is integrated into the design with built-in pressure monitoring. Available in .22 and .25 calibers, the grip holds extra magazines for quick, caliber-specific magazine storage and replacement. An integrated optics rail supports 11mm dovetail and 22mm Weaver optic mounts for the best target acquisition. Included are two magazines and a custom molded hard case.

Jet I
Stepping up to a more easily stabilized pistol is the JET 1, which combines features of a pistol and a PCC carbine. A removable buttstock adds the support necessary for precise shots and can be removed for easy handling and fast function. Like the Velox, the JET 1 has a removable 40cc 250BAR air cylinder. Additional single and dual air cylinders can be purchased separately and come in various colors. And fast change is an understatement. With just a few screw twists, the cylinder is removed and ready to be replaced.
Available in .177, .22, and .25 calibers, the Jet 1 is compact and lightweight. Its 7.9-inch barrel is shrouded, measures 15 inches in total (22.8-24.6 with stock), and weighs 2 pounds (2.9 with stock). Three integrated pop-up sites are included as a stand-alone pistol or with the stock. Additionally, optics can be attached using the 11mm dovetail rail and side-mount Picatinny rails. For backpackers, this weather-resistant, all-in-one air rifle offers unparalleled versatility unseen in the industry.

Jet II
For those who want even more shots per fill, the JET II steps up with twin 40cc air cylinders, doubling air capacity without compromising compact design. Like its sibling, it’s available in .177, .22, and .25 calibers, but delivers up to 48 shots per fill in .177. Measuring the same 15 inches long (22.8–24.6 inches with stock), and weighing 2.4 pounds without the stock (3.3 with), the JET II adds extended shooting capability in the same ultra-portable package. Both models are weather-resistant, modular, and trail-ready, making them ideal for backpackers, survivalists, and recreational shooters who demand performance without bulk

SuperTACT QE
While PCP options are well worth the investment, spring-powered air rifles are often preferred. Hatsan answered that call with the SuperTACT QE, a QuietEnergy airgun with a removable stock and adjustable trigger. This two-for-one airgun is available in .177 and .22 calibers. It features a break-action single-shot spring mechanism that can deliver up to 625 FPS and reduce downrange noise with the integrated sound moderator. Loading the spring requires approximately 58 lbs of force, demonstrating its capability and power.
Made with precision rifled German steel, the barrel measures 9 inches and telescopes to 26-29.9 inches. 11mm optics dovetail grooves make it possible to mount optics—like the Optima line of red dots—but also retain pop-up and adjustable iron sights. Retention is key, with an ergonomic synthetic stock, textured finger grooves, and a thumb rest. A Quattro 2-stage adjustable match trigger sets up the SuperTACT QE as the optimal airgun for the backpacker, camper, and woodsman.
