Dead Air Silencers, an industry leader in advanced sound-suppression technologies, announces the appointment of Mike Clark as National Sales Manager – Law Enforcement / Military. The new position underscores the company’s expanding commitment to professional and defense markets both in the United States and abroad.
In his new role, Clark will lead all LE / MIL sales operations across the continental US while also supporting foreign military sales initiatives abroad. His focus will include building a dedicated sales and support infrastructure, strengthening agency relationships, and coordinating directly with Dead Air’s engineering and product-management teams to ensure that product development aligns with the operational needs of law enforcement and military end users. Clark brings over a decade of front-line experience in law-enforcement procurement and defense-channel development.
Most recently, as Outside Law Enforcement Sales Manager for Colt Manufacturing, he managed national law enforcement accounts, achieving significant growth in spare parts sales, optimizing distribution channels, and advancing end-user programs and product initiatives tailored to the law enforcement community.
Previously, during his tenure with Smith & Wesson and FN America, he secured major agency contracts, led the execution of the first federal suppressor contract in Smith & Wesson’s history, and conducted more than seventy armorer’s courses across the Mid-Atlantic region.
“Mike brings the depth of experience, professionalism, and technical understanding required to serve the most demanding customers in our industry,” said Ernie Beckwith, CEO of Dead Air Silencers. “He has a proven record of translating the voice of the operator into actionable product strategy. As Dead Air continues to deliver innovations such as our Triskelion™ Gas Management System and Nomad XC platforms, Mike’s leadership will ensure that our LE and MIL partners receive unmatched support and solutions purpose-built for their missions.”
Clark’s background in competitive-market analysis, training-event execution, and distributor-channel management complements Dead Air’s drive for technical excellence and customer focus. His addition to the team strengthens the company’s initiative to expand professional-grade suppressor adoption and reinforce Dead Air’s position as the benchmark for reliability and acoustic performance in tactical environments.
“I’m honored to join a company that’s redefining performance and precision in sound suppression,” Clark said. “My goal is to ensure every agency and operator—domestic or abroad—has access to the same uncompromising technology and support that have made Dead Air a trusted name among professionals.”
