Reporting To: Help Desk & Server Manager

Job Location: Columbia, MO 65203

MidwayUSA is seeking a talented Server Administrator excited to use Linux and/or automation experience to support the organization. You will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment while still respecting your work/life balance. The Server Administrator with MidwayUSA will support systems, domain servers, and system security, as well as assist with process and system improvement.

Position Duties

  • Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and support Microsoft Windows Server and Enterprise Linux operating systems
  • Manage Active Directory/Entra AD, including Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
  • Use experience and knowledge to design, install, implement, and administer VMware ESXi servers, Virtual Center, VMotion, HA and DRS
  • Collaborate with teams to plan and execute projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
  • Plan, schedule, and perform regular software patch deployments to servers, applications, and infrastructure
  • Leverage experience to administer Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Exchange Hybrid, Spam/Phishing protection, DMARC
  • Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure backups are maintained and tested
  • Utilize experience to implement automation using PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Git, or other infrastructure as code
  • Develop, configure, and maintain SAN storage arrays with a working knowledge of CIFS/SMB, NFS, and iSCSI protocols
  • Provide quick, reliable, efficient, and friendly customer service

Position Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in information systems, related technical discipline, or appropriate experience
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of System Administration experience preferred
