Vice President of Operations

Kalashnikov USA is growing! We are looking to add an experienced VP of Operations to our team! This individual will be responsible for overseeing all day to day manufacturing operations. Essential Functions:

• Oversees day to day company operations
• Oversees the Production Department; sets and monitors the production schedule with the Manager
• Works closely with the CEO to manages the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities
• Oversees the development and implementation of programs for standardization of processes, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement
• Determines the material resources required
• Oversees the development, communication and implementation of effective manufacturing and growth strategies
• Oversees the corrective action plans and engage in the continuous improvement process for production staff
• Develops, mentors and coaches all direct staff. Helps grow organizational capacity and builds future leaders for the company
• Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the product line
• Makes decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement
• Designs and implements standard operating procedures for production operations
• Ensures that standard operating procedures are adhered to
• Ensures implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Continually investigates and introduces process improvement measures and presents suggestions to the leadership team for consideration
• Implements and enforces quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
• Analyzes production and quality control to detect and correct problems
• Determines and implements improvements to the production process
• Prepares and maintains production reports
• Estimate production costs and implement cost control programs
• Other job-related duties.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
• MBA, MAC or equivalent graduate degree preferred
• 5-10 years of supervisory experience in production and manufacturing setting
• Knowledge of Five-S, LEAN Manufacturing, and ISO standards
• Proven track record as a team leader
• Multi-team management experience
• Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental business principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
• Engineering background
• Knowledge of raw materials
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
• Must live, or relocate, near Pompano Beach, Florida
