ZEISS Outdoor Adds Increased Magnification and Straight Models to the ZEISS Conquest Apia Spotting Scope Line

The ZEISS Conquest Apia 65A spotting scope gave hunters and shooters an onramp to experience ZEISS' premium quality and performance in a compact body without the premium price. The newest additions to the ZEISS Conquest Apia lineup deliver higher magnification and eyepiece-configuration options to suit more applications and preferences.

For hunters who spend their time in the field glassing across terrain and woodlines or down into canyons and bottoms, the new straight eyepiece configuration of the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65S will keep the spotting scope in line with the hunter's eye for increased comfort and faster target acquisition when switching between the spotter and riflescope. Delivering magnification from 20-50x, the straight eyepiece also allows for easier use with window mounts and requires a slimmer tripod foot for easier transport and storage when pack space is at a premium.

A 24-60x magnification range allows for greater discernment of smaller detail at extreme distances from the ZEISS Conquest Apia 85A. The larger 85 mm objective lens manages even more light to deliver increased performance at first and last light when game is most active. Like the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 model, the new ZEISS Conquest Apia 85 models are also available in either a straight or angled eyepiece configuration.

Across all magnification ranges and configurations, the ZEISS Conquest Apia line is built for long days in the field, handling and adjusting comfortably with bare or gloved hands while providing the same exceptional image clarity and light-gathering performance for which the ZEISS brand is known.

"Hunters have to go where the game is, and getting there often requires cutting the weight and size of packs. In the past, cutting down the size and weight of a spotting scope also meant cutting back on quality and performance," said Kyle Brown, director of marketing and product for ZEISS Outdoor Products by VALYRA. "Both the ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 and 85 options are compact for their magnification range and extremely durable for their weight. The mobility of the ZEISS Conquest Apia line won't hold hunters back, and the performance will make hunters glad they brought it with them."

All ZEISS Conquest Apia spotting scopes are compatible with the full range of new and existing ZEISS accessories, including the new stay-on case, eyepieces with reticles in either MOA or MRAD, the popular magnetic digiscoping adaptor system and ZEISS Pro-Series Tripod Kits.

The ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 straight and the ZEISS Conquest Apia 85 angled models will be available at selected retailers in early November 2026. The ZEISS Conquest Apia 85 straight model, along with the specialized eyepieces with reticles, and new stay-on-cases, will be available in late November 2026. The ZEISS Conquest Apia 65 angled, which launched in Spring 2026, is currently available from authorized retailers nationwide.
