Entry starts with the same RFID technology Hornady has built its RAPiD line around. The Ready Vault can be programmed to recognize up to five different tags available as a watchband, key fob, or adhesive decal, so every authorized user gets in fast, without fumbling for a combination. Built-in WiFi connectivity adds a layer most gun safes don't offer: paired with the Hornady Security® mobile app, owners get an alert the moment the safe is unlocked, whether they're in the next room or across the country.
Inside, the Ready Vault is built to organize a real collection, not just hold one. Patent-pending, dual-purpose Square-Lok® gun racks hold up to eight long guns and 14 handguns, with a PVC coating and deep standoffs that keep large optics clear of the rack. The Square-Lok® system extends across the interior walls, giving owners the flexibility to mount shelves, LED lighting, magnetic hooks, a hygrometer, or a dehumidifier in whatever configuration fits their setup. A padded neoprene floor mat protects firearm finishes and keeps contents from shifting.
Power comes from both household AC and a battery backup, keeping the Ready Vault operational and ready around the clock with no downtime, no dead batteries leaving a collection inaccessible when it matters.
