Installation is designed to be a weekend project, not a renovation. Each unit mounts directly between standard wall studs using the included lag bolts, with a footprint built to slide into the space most homes already have. The body is constructed from 16-gauge steel with an 8-gauge steel door, giving the safe real resistance to prying and forced entry despite its slim, wall-mounted profile.
Inside, an electronic lock with mechanical key backup keeps access fast for the household and simple to recover if the batteries ever run low — a low-battery audio and LED warning gives plenty of notice before that happens (four AA batteries required, not included). The door itself is configurable to open left or right, so it fits the room instead of the other way around, and a spring-assist mechanism makes it easy to open one-handed.
Organization is built in, not an afterthought. Removable shelves let owners customize the interior for jewelry, documents, electronics, or firearms, while integrated magnetic hooks and a document holder keep small or frequently-used items within reach. The exterior wears a light grey powder-coat finish designed to sit unnoticed behind a mirror, painting, or piece of furniture.
