Sleeker profile and refined rear angle deliver smoother bag adjustments and improved stability
Catalyst Arms has released the Apex Bag Rider 2.0, an upgraded rear stock accessory for the Gen 1–Gen 3 Ruger Precision Rifle (short-action and magnum-action models). The new design features a sleeker profile and a refined angle at the rear of the bag rider for smoother, more controlled elevation adjustments when sliding the support bag forward or rearward under the stock.
Made from durable polymer, the Apex Bag Rider 2.0 is wider than the factory bottom Picatinny rail to improve stability on bags, packs, or the support hand. The angled surface allows shooters to raise or lower the buttstock simply by sliding the rear bag forward or aft, providing more stable aiming than using uneven grip pressure on the bag.
