BulletSafe is bringing back the VP3, its American-made Level IIIA soft body armor vest, following continued customer demand for the discontinued model.
The returning VP3 is the same vest previously offered by BulletSafe. Rather than redesigning the product or replacing it with a new name, BulletSafe is returning the original VP3 to the lineup for customers and dealers looking for straightforward, value-focused soft body armor.
The VP3 provides NIJ Standard 0101.06 Level IIIA soft armor protection against common handgun threats up to .44 Magnum. Flexible front and rear ballistic panels provide wraparound torso coverage while an eight-point adjustment system allows the vest to be fitted across a wide range of body types.
Available in sizes XS through 4XL, the VP3 uses progressively larger ballistic panels as vest size increases, providing coverage appropriate to each size rather than placing the same armor package inside multiple carriers.
Sizes Small through 4XL also include front and rear pockets for standard 10x12 hard armor plates. This allows customers to wear the VP3 as standalone Level IIIA soft armor or add compatible rifle-rated plates over vital areas when additional protection is required.
The return of the VP3 adds a familiar, easy-to-position option to the company's armor lineup. Its combination of Level IIIA protection, broad sizing, adjustable fit and hard armor compatibility makes it suitable for first-time armor buyers as well as law enforcement, security professionals and prepared civilians looking for a practical soft armor system.
