Blue Force Gear Showcases the Future of Lightweight Operational Capability at SOF Week

POOLER, GA. – Blue Force Gear (“BFG”), the industry leader in lightweight load carriage and tactical equipment innovation, returns to SOF Week 2026 to showcase mission-ready systems engineered to reduce load, increase mobility, and enhance operational effectiveness for today’s warfighter.

For more than two decades, Blue Force Gear has pushed the boundaries of lightweight equipment design through patented technologies, advanced materials, and a relentless focus on eliminating unnecessary weight without sacrificing durability or capability.

Attendees visiting Booth #19 during SOF Select 2026 will experience several of BFG’s latest innovations built to solve real-world operational challenges while maintaining the company’s commitment to lightweight performance and intelligent design.

Among the featured products is the MARCO Family of Marking Light Dispensers, the industry’s first magazine-style chemlight deployment system designed to streamline low-light and night vision operations. Expanding on the proven platform, the newly released patent pending MARCO HR rapidly deploys and activates 2” chemlights in one swift mechanical motion, reducing movement and improving efficiency during dynamic operations. Developed specifically for professional end users, MARCO HR is available exclusively for government purchase.

Blue Force Gear will showcase a new collaboration with DRYOUT, introducing advanced moisture-remediation dry bags designed to help protect mission-critical equipment from condensation, humidity, and environmental exposure. Available in multiple sizes, the reusable, electricity-free bags utilize DRYOUT’s proprietary technology to help safeguard sensitive electronics, optics, night vision devices, batteries, and other essential equipment in demanding operational environments.

Also featured at SOF Week is the certified BFG Integrated Stealth Harness (ISH), a patented multi-role system that combines a climbing harness, gun belt, and travel restraint into one streamlined piece of equipment. Certified as a Type C Sit Harness capable of supporting more than 3,000 pounds, the ISH was engineered to reduce bulk and consolidate critical capabilities without compromising safety or functionality.

“Modern warfighters are carrying more equipment than ever before, and every unnecessary ounce impacts mobility, endurance, and long-term physical health,” said CEO Ashley Burnsed. “At Blue Force Gear, our mission has always been to engineer lighter, smarter equipment that enhances operational capability without compromise.”

SOF Week attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with Blue Force Gear’s military and product development teams to discuss equipment integration, procurement solutions, and the measurable advantages of lightweight load carriage systems engineered for modern mission requirements.
