Magpul Launches the Ruger RXM EHG Sub-Compact Grip

Austin, TX – Magpul® launched the Sub-Compact Enhanced Handgun Grip (EHG) for the Ruger RXM. A collaboration between Magpul and Ruger, the RXM is a pistol that maximizes customizability and value. Now, with the Sub-Compact EHG, it's even more versatile.

Because of the Fire Control Insert (FCI), the RXM is an interchangeable chassis-style pistol that can be changed from a full-sized, to a compact, and now to a sub-compact pistol simply by swapping the FCI between EHGs, which come in Black, FDE, ODG and Stealth Gray. The RXM is a durable, accurate handgun at an attractive price that can be outfitted for the range, as a duty gun, or as an ultra-concealable package thanks to the new Sub-Compact EHG.

The Subcompact EHG puts many of the same valuable features found on the original RXM EHG into a package optimized for concealed carry. It has ¾-scale Magpul Trapezoidal Surface Projection texture on the front and back strap, side panels, and the forward index pads, providing a solid purchase, as well as improving control during sustained fire.

The frame features an undercut trigger guard to further promote a sure grip, and the magazine well is flared for faster and easier magazine changes. The magazine release scallop provides a recessed, easily accessed space for the ridged, textured mag release, enabling fast, efficient operation while preventing accidental activation. The new EHG also comes standard with a universal rail for mounting lights and lasers to further enhance the pistol's capabilities. All EHG RG9 grips are made from Magpul's strong, rigid injection-molded polymer for durability and long service life.

The Sub-Compact EHG is compatible with Magpul GL9® PMAGs and GLOCK® factory magazines. It ships with Ruger-manufactured magazine release, magazine-release spring, slide-lock spring, and takedown-pin spring, so all parts are ready out of the box. The Sub-Compact EHG for the RXM functions with many GLOCK Gen3 aftermarket parts and accessories, including magazine releases, slide-stop components, and GLOCK-compatible holsters.

To get your hands on the smallest EHG available, or the compact or full-sized EHGs for the RXM, head over to Magpul.com or visit your local retailer.

About Magpul: Magpul was founded in 1999 with the concept of developing an easy-to-use product to solve the handling and speed problems associated with handling rifle magazines under stress. The company name comes from this original product, the Magpul. This simple innovation—and the mindset of problem-solving through better design, materials, and user experience—led to others that redefined the experience customers had with their firearms. More than two decades later, Magpul has grown significantly, but we still follow the same mission and processes, focusing on innovation, simplicity, and efficiency. Our product lines now include hundreds of firearms accessories, along with other experience-enhancing gear, and all have been designed to professional-use standards. We now make 400+ unique products with hundreds of variants, including magazines, stocks, slings, sights, grips, bipods, organization and storage solutions and a lot more dependable, hard-use gear.
