Announcing the 2026 NRA America's Rifle Challenge Match Director Summit

The NRA Competitive Shooting Division is pleased to announce the launch of the NRA America's Rifle Challenge (ARC) 2026 Match Director Summit, an immersive training and professional development opportunity designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities for current or aspiring ARC Match Directors and Range Officers.

The 2026 Summit will be held May 6–10, 2026, at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, and will bring together a select group of club and range volunteers for comprehensive instruction focused on the safe, efficient, and engaging conduct of ARC competitions.

Summit Overview

The ARC Match Director Summit is a three-day program combining classroom instruction and live-fire range training. The curriculum covers a broad range of Match Director and Range Officer responsibilities, with emphasis on competitor safety, match administration, range operations, creative and challenging stage designs, and best practices for delivering a high-quality competitive experience. Lodging and meals will be provided for those applicants selected to attend. Participation is limited to 36 attendees to ensure a personal focus and meaningful hands-on instruction. Please do NOT make travel arrangements until you have been notified that you have been selected to attend. A registration code will be emailed to all selected participants to complete the registration and payment of $50 to attend.

About NRA America's Rifle Challenge: NRA America's Rifle Challenge is a practical, marksmanship-focused competition designed to be accessible, safe, and engaging for a wide range of competitors of all skill levels. ARC emphasizes fundamental rifle skills, responsible firearm handling, and progressive challenge through clearly defined course levels. The program is structured to help competitors build confidence, improve proficiency, and exercise their Second Amendment rights through organized competition.
