Arsenal Displays the SAM7K-28 SBR with New Precision-Machined 1913 Picatinny Attachment Aluminum Stock at SHOT Show 2026
Las Vegas, NV – Arsenal, Inc. announces the SAM7K-28 will be on display at the 2026 SHOT Show — the SAM7K platform configured as a short-barreled rifle (SBR) and released with a new precision-machined aluminum buttstock that secures to the rifle using a 1913 Picatinny attachment interface. Originally released in October 2025, the SAM7K-28 will be displayed for the first time following the enactment of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which eliminated the NFA tax stamp fee. SHOT Show 2026 is the perfect opportunity to check out these models in person. The SAM7K-28 pairs Arsenal's proven SAM7K model in 7.62x39mm with a purpose-built tactical stock engineered and manufactured in-house to deliver the strength, fit, and ergonomics required for a compact SBR.

The Stock
Central to the SAM7K-28 is Arsenal's new CNC-machined aluminum buttstock assembly. Key attributes:

What's included & compatibility
Included with each SAM7K-28: FIME enhanced fire control group, sling (color varies by finish), cleaning kit, cleaning rod, oil bottle, thread protector, and one 10-round magazine (color matched to furniture). The SAM7K-28 is compatible with Arsenal's SM-22 optic mounts, muzzle devices, extended magazines — all sold separately. It also fits perfectly in the Eternity Universal Pick-and-Pluck hard case.
