Kansas City, KS (May 13, 2025) – CZ-USA is pleased to announce three new senior management leaders to complement the existing CZ-USA Team and better serve the U.S. market. The new roles of President of U.S. Operations, Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales are highlighted below:

Petr Pišt?lák has been appointed President, CZ-USA, overseeing all aspects of U.S. operations, sales, and marketing. Petr has been with Colt CZ Group since 2019 where he served as Global Head of the Commercial Sales Organization. He will be relocating from the Czech Republic to Kansas City, KS. Prior to his time at Colt CZ Group, Petr served in various leadership roles at Proctor & Gamble, Czech Airlines, and PFF Group. He also founded the consulting agency Profit Booster, helping companies achieve profitable growth by leveraging his diverse business leadership experience. He is the published author of a book called The Profitbooster Method.

Tom Taylor is joining the company as Chief Marketing Officer, CZ-USA and will be responsible for building the CZ brand in the U.S. as he leads marketing and product development. He will also support Colt marketing and further development of the CZ brand globally. Tom has served 21 years in various roles throughout the firearm industry, with the past 10 years at Sig Sauer where he was Chief Marketing Officer & Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales. Prior to that, he spent time at Smith & Wesson and Mossberg. Preceding his time in the firearm industry, Tom spent over 20 years at The Coca-Cola Company in various leadership roles.

John Dain joined Colt CZ Group one year ago and has achieved increasing levels of responsibility for U.S. sales. He has now been promoted to Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales, CZ-USA and will oversee all aspects of U.S. sales. Prior to Colt CZ Group, John spent 12 years at Sig Sauer where he advanced from the roles in customer service and product management to ultimately serving as Senior Director, National Sales and Channel Marketing. Prior to his time in the firearm industry, John served America in the U.S. Army as a Team Leader in Iraq and is a decorated combat veteran.
