GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation Set to Host National Challenge in July

CAMP PERRY, Ohio – The GLOCK Shooting Sports Foundation (GSSF) has scheduled the GSSF CMP National Challenge, which will take place this summer during the National Pistol Matches – a marksmanship tradition that attracts thousands to the Camp Perry National Guard Training Facility in Ohio each year. The National Matches are conducted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).

This year’s GLOCK match will feature two days of competition, starting Saturday, July 17, and ending Sunday, July 18, 2021. Guests may sign up for more than one relay in one of three divisions: Stock, Unlimited or Rimfire.

The match is designed to accommodate seasoned competitors as well as those new to competition shooting, with five different 10-shot series from 5, 7, 10, 15 and 25 yards. All shots on target are scored, and no penalties will be given for missed or unfired shots.

Participants must be members of the GSSF in order to compete in the event. Register for membership online at http://www.gssfonline.com/registration.cfm or upon registration for the match through the CMP. Any GLOCK may be used during competition, with the exceptions of G36, G42 and G43 pistols.

For those who do not own a GLOCK but would like to fire in the match, the company will have extras on loan for free use. Those using a loaned pistol must bring or purchase ammo necessary for the event – limited quantities may be available on the range during the competition.
