TALLADEGA, Ala. – If you are looking for a destination to host team-building or other company-based events with a fun twist, look to the CMP Talladega Marksmanship Park, “The Home of Marksmanship,” located near the famous Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.

As a way of inviting others to discover the stimulating world of marksmanship, the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) has implemented the Alabama Marksmanship Getaway Package – open to corporations interested in renting the entire 600-acre facility.

The Talladega Marksmanship Park, just off of I-20, is a destination for firearm supporters and those intrigued by the sport, featuring exclusive CMP electronic targets and scoring monitors. Use our facility golf carts or discover the beautifully manicured grounds on foot – taking in the natural attractiveness of the Alabama scenery.

The park is open to the public every week and regularly hosts rifle, pistol and shotgun events all year long. Off of the firing line, the Club House holds a fully-stocked Pro Shop that includes an extensive collection of rifles, ammunition, marksmanship accessories and CMP memorabilia.

The day-long Alabama Marksmanship Getaway itinerary is open to the company’s interests but may include a continental breakfast, CMP welcome and explanation of sport shooting, firearm orientation (rifle, pistol, or shotgun), team shooting activities, a lunch break, followed by an afternoon of more competition excitement. Daily schedule may be adjusted to fit any other company suggestions for activities.

Whether familiar with marksmanship or completely inexperienced, able-bodied or impaired, the secure and versatile environment within the Talladega Marksmanship Park, along with a selection of safety-enhancing apparatuses, can accommodate the needs of all guests.

The Alabama Marksmanship Getaway All-Inclusive Package includes several items provided by the CMP, such as:

• Ammo to be used by participants;
• Protective eyewear and hearing protection;
• Carts for movement between stations;
• Coordination serving food (breakfast and lunch);
• Pre-session inquiries;
• Leadership and staffing for all shooting activities;
• Classroom space for meeting; and
• A "SWAG BAG" of gifts for each participant.

Potential pricing for corporate events (dependent upon schedule finalization) are:

• Groups of 10: $3,250
• Groups of 20: $6,250
• Groups of 30: $9,250
• Groups of 40: $12,250
• Groups of 50: $15,500
• Groups of 75: $23,000
• Groups of 100: $30,500
