Honoring Steve and Barbara Hines, and Supporting the Fight Against Alzheimer’s

This fall, ERGO joined thousands of walkers nationwide for the annual Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Team ERGO walked in loving memory of ERGO founder Stephen Hines and his wife Barbara, both of whom battled dementia in their later years. The ERGO family rallied together to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research.

Team ERGO joined almost 800 community members for the Albuquerque, NM Walk to End Alzheimer's®. The walk is one of the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

Team ERGO proudly wore custom purple shirts dedicated to Steve and Barbara and carried photos celebrating their legacy. We are proud to say Tearm ERGO exceeded our fundraising goal and, together, raised over $2,100 for the event. Every dollar raised helps support families and moves us closer to finding effective treatments.

Stephen “Steve” Hines founded Falcon Industries in 90’s with a vision to design the best firearm grips. His 26 patents are a testament to his creativity and drive to make a difference in the industry. He and Barbara are dearly missed by all who know them.

The Alzheimer’s Association® is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
