CZ’s P-10C Featured In Nov. GUNS Magazine

Commanding the cover of November’s GUNS Magazine, the CZ P-10C boasts “state-of-the-art materials science, cutting-edge design and well-reasoned features,” according to Contributing Editor, Will Dabbs, MD, in his overview of the suppressor-ready 9mm.

With a GEMTECH GM9 suppressor and SureFire X400 combination light and laser mounted on the test gun, Will reports, “The turbocharged combination of the P-10C, the GM9 and the X400 will reliably and quietly secure your castle. … CZ knows how to build guns and they’ve done this one up well.”

In “Pushing The Precision Envelope,” Mark Hampton dishes on his collaboration with Nosler to produce the Model 48 Custom Handgun. Going hands-on with a prototype chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a 1:8-inch twist and based on the company’s M48 rifle action, Mark was astounded by its accuracy — especially at 200 yards. Using Nosler 120-gr. BT ammo, he achieved 0.300-inch three-shot groups. “To say I was surprised would be an understatement,” he notes. “This thing shoots.”

A Ruger Precision Rifle (Model 18092) leads the November Gun Of The Month giveaway. Among a host of features, the rifle has a cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel with a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake and a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger. A Nightforce Shooter Hunter Varminter SHV 4-14x50 F1 riflescope, Operator 7 from TOPS Knives and a TX9R flashlight from Coast Products round out the package worth $3,314. Readers are invited to enter the drawing for free by visiting www.gunsmagazine.com/giveaway.

GUNS November also highlights creating custom bullets with custom mold makers in the Montana Musings column. Mike “Duke” Venturino cautions readers, “Beware: Dreaming up custom molds can become additive!” John Taffin explains why the S&W .22 Victory Target Model is “precise and nicely priced” in the Out Of The Box installment. Touting the virtues of his favorite caliber, the .45 Colt, Tank Hoover admits he can’t be faithful to just one handgun in the latest edition of Think Tank.

Dick Williams offers “Big Bores For Big Boars” in this month’s Online Exclusive. The November issue of GUNS is on newsstands now with a digital version available for purchase online at www.gunsmagazine.com/digital-version.
