PDN Training Tour Reaching 39 States

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) – Now in its seventh consecutive year, the 2018 Personal Defense Network® (PDN) Training Tour is in full swing, bringing practical professional training to venues around the United States.

This year’s tour is again led by PDN Executive Director Rob Pincus who hit the road behind the wheel of the official tour vehicle from the Ancient City Shooting Center in St. Augustine, Florida, on March 22nd. The Tour vehicle, a 2018 BMW X6 wrapped in a modified Kryptek Raid pattern, carries the insignia of an industry-best line up of sponsors from around the firearm and defensive training community, including:

5.11

Angelfire Ammunition CrossBreed Holsters

Holosun

Kryptek

Mission First Tactical

Patriot Ordnance Factory USA

SIRT

Springfield Armory USA

United States Concealed Carry Association

Viridian Weapon Technologies

Commenting on this year’s sponsors, Rob Pincus says, “The support provided by this year’s sponsors is testament to the commitment of the firearm and training communities to make specially-developed personal defense training accessible to as many people as possible.  Thanks to them, we can get more instructors to more places, and provide more students with more opportunities to learn and develop the skills they seek, all over the country.”  Tim Schmidt, President and Founder of United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), and a returning sponsor of the PDN Training Tour, offered this perspective, “USCCA is committed to empowering law-abiding citizens to protect and defend themselves and their loved ones.  We call them ‘responsibly armed Americans’.  The PDN Training Tour is an invaluable resource for all defense-minded people to develop, improve and expand their defensive capabilities.  We’re thrilled to be part of such a worthwhile effort.”

Pincus heads-up the cadre of twelve expert instructors, teaching classes under the PDN Training Tour banner now through the end of July 2018.  In preparation for the months-long road trip, Pincus commented, “We’ve worked hard each year to stretch the breadth and depth of class offerings and instructor options to meet the needs of more students, and this year’s Tour is no exception.  We’re pleased to have many talented instructors returning to teach and we’re thrilled to have some new faces as well.”  In addition to a variety of classes geared toward defensive shooting, the 2018 Tour includes classes on traumatic medical care, competition shooting, marksmanship, and several unarmed training options.

A unique feature of the 2018 PDN Training Tour, made possible by the support of sponsors, is the opportunity for students to receive significant savings on training ammo and other products for all live-fire defensive handgun and carbine classes, as well as a chance to get hands-on demos of firearms and accessories for personal and home defense.
