NSSF Restructures Membership, Business-Development Departments

NEWTOWN, Conn.—The National Shooting Sports Foundation has announced a realignment of its member services and business-development departments to ensure better service to its more than 12,000 members and the industry at large.

Randy Clark and Bettyjane Swann, longtime NSSF employees who formerly headed the business development and member services departments, respectively, are retiring.

The realignment will allow NSSF to effectively meet the needs of its growing membership base in the retailer, range and voting/supporting categories. The new department will be known as Member Services, and NSSF will recruit to hire a new head of Member Services, reporting to Chris Dolnack, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.

NSSF also announces several promotions and title changes to current staff in order to better align their duties with the goals of the reorganized department. Additionally, NSSF will hire several individuals to help deliver broader services in the retailer and range areas.

Zach Snow has been promoted to Director, Shooting Range Services. NSSF will recruit to fill the position of Shooting Range Services Coordinator to focus on meeting the needs of range members, with that individual reporting to Snow.

Samantha Hughes has been promoted to Manager, Member Services, providing membership support to NSSF's voting, supporting, associate and media member segments.

Patrick Shay's title has been slightly altered to Director, Retail Services. Ann Siladi, formerly Member Services Coordinator, will become the new Retail Services Coordinator focusing on the needs of retailer members, reporting to Shay. NSSF also will fill the position of Manager, Retail Services.

Additionally, NSSF will be recruiting for the new position of Director, Education Services, to serve the expanding educational needs and interests of our firearms retailers and shooting range operators.
