MGM Shooters Excel at World Match

The 2014 IPSC World Shoot wrapped up last week. The week long triennial event brought over 1400 shooters from around the world to Frostproof, Fl., home of the acclaimed Universal Shooting Academy.

USA is run by Frank Garcia, Manny Bragg, and Shannon Smith and outfitted with tons of MGM steel which was featured in the event.

True to the name, World Shoot competitors came representing numerous countries including The Netherlands, Russia, Venezuela, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Sweden, Czech Republic, Germany, UK, Canada and of course, The United States.

Shooters from five divisions navigated 30 stages with several Team MGM shooters performing in the top ranks.

MGM shooter and multiple title champion shooter Max Michel who was among a field of 367 contestants took the Open division win, his first world shoot win 'which he's very excited about it as he's won just about every other title out there' stated MGM VP, Travis Gibson after talking with Michel.

Additionally, Kincaid Ross the always impressive junior punctuated his solid 21st place finish with a 2nd place among junior shooters. Veteran competitor Eddie Garcia finished 33rd and young Christopher Oosteisen claimed 71st and the 9th junior spot.

Supplementing Team MGM's prowess at the event, the Standard division featured 348 shooters with Travis Tomasi finishing 8th, followed by Emanuel Bragg with 12th and High Senior honors.

Team MGM shooters continue to dominate all disciplines of competitive shooting including Long Range, 3 Gun, Rim Fire and IPSC and others.
