Hornady®-Sponsored Doug Koenig Wins Production Class at Southington PRS Match
Grand Island, NE.- Hornady® congratulates the performance of Team Hornady® shooter Doug Koenig, on his first place finish in the Production Class at the Southington Hunt Club Precision Rifle Challenge, June 21 in Garrettsville, Ohio.
Koenig placed first in the Production Class using Hornady® 6mm Creedmoor 108gr. ELD® Match ammunition. “I enjoy shooting production this year, I’m trying to show that you can be competitive with full production equipment and factory ammunition” said Koenig. “Combine Hornady ammunition with a Ruger rifle and a Leupold scope, I have the confidence I need to hit every target when I do my part!” Koenig added.
The Southington PRS Match featured 20 challenging stages and required shooters to use 200 rounds of almost all positional stages. Shooters experienced a large amount of movement at each stage while engaging multiple targets at distance.
