Stone Glacier Announces 2020 Product Lineup

Inclusive of NEW Technical Apparel, Ultralight Tents, & Load-Hauling Packs

Bozeman, MT -- 2020 marks another huge year for Stone Glacier with important additions to the Technical Apparel offering. Most notable is the waterproof/breathable M5 Jacket and M5 Pant, designed with the proprietary HydraShield™ 3-layer waterproof laminate textile technology. Also released is the Helio Series of mid-layers that utilize Polygiene® Odor Technology and the innovative Stratum™ Layered Zipper System. The already best-selling Skyscraper 2P tent has been updated along with the addition of the all-new SkyDome 6P base camp shelter that is unlike anything currently available to hunters. Designing and producing the best backpacks available continues to be a leading priority with the introduction of a redesigned, expedition sized, Sky Archer 6400 and Serac 1700 daypack.

The M5 Series rain gear features Stone Glacier's proprietary HydraShield™ technology, a mechanical stretch 3-layer laminate that boasts an impressive waterproof rating of 31,000mm and an MVTR breathability rating of 27,600g/m2/24hr. The M5 Series is also designed with the innovative and patent-pending Contour Waist™ System for ease of layering, YKK Vislon® and Aquaguard zippers, and all new Stratum™ Layered Zipper System. The Stratum™ Layered Zipper System is a unique Stone Glacier innovation that uses strategically placed side zippers on all Stone Glacier pants and bottoms to allow the user to vent all their layers down to their bare skin during periods of high exertion.

This year, Stone Glacier is excited to introduce the SkyDome 6p and a freshly updated Skyscraper 2p to the best-in-class tent and shelter lineup. The proven design of the Skyscraper 2p has enhanced capabilities including an upgrade to 10.65mm DAC poles, redesigned doors, and an additional external venting system to help minimize condensation. Even with all these updates, the overall weight has been decreased. Again, working with world-renowned tent designer, Martin Zemitis, we are excited to introduce the SkyDome 6p. A base camp shelter large enough for 6 people and bombproof enough to withstand the worst storms mother nature can throw at it.

"We are very excited about the growth of our new product lines but also maintain steadfastly focused on the continued innovation of our ultralight pack designs," says Stone Glacier, CEO & President Jeff Sposito. This year, the pack line boasts a redesigned Sky Archer 6400 which now includes an internal spotting scope pocket and a more efficient full-length side-zipper that allows access to the main compartment of the bag without having to remove your bow. The Serac 1700 has also been redesigned to add more versatility to the system. Great for day hunts or early season scouting missions, the Serac remains 1,700 cubic inches but now has an internal frame and removable shoulder straps so it can be used as a stand-alone day-pack or quickly installed onto one of Stone Glacier’s load-hauling frames for heavy pack outs.
