Team Beretta Shooters Post Wins at the 2020 Gator Cup

(Accokeek, MD) Team Beretta shooters recently achieved 7 podium finishes in 5 different events at last week’s 2020 Gator Cup in Okeechobee, FL.

Team Beretta members in attendance at this competition included Anthony Matarese, Diane Sorantino, Desirae Edmunds, and Zachary Kienbaum.

Matarese, who shoots with a standard Beretta DT11, secured a third-place finish in the main event with a score of 187 targets out of 200, after a shoot-off with fellow teammate Kienbaum and junior competitor Tom Seay. He also obtained an additional third-place podium finish and two runner-up finishes in the preliminary, FITASC, and Super Sporting events with scores of 95/100, 96/100, and 49/50, respectively.

Sorantino, shooting with a Beretta A400 Xcel, achieved two ladies runner-up podium finishes in the preliminary and Super Sporting events with exceptional scores of 91/100 and 43/50, respectively.

Edmunds, who shoots with a Beretta DT11 L, obtained ladies champion honors in the preliminary event with a score of 94 out of 100 targets, besting her nearest competitor by 3 targets.

Kienbaum battled against some tough competitors and finished in the top ten for each of the events in which he entered.

Team Beretta shooters will continue their season at the upcoming 2020 Seminole Cup in Woodbine, GA from February 26 to March 1, 2020.
