GRINNELL, Iowa – In honor of Peace Officer’s Memorial Day, Brownells will donate five percent of all sales recorded on May 15, National Peace Officer Memorial Day, to the Brotherhood for the Fallen, a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.

Authorized by Congress, and sponsored by the National Fraternal Order of Police, National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day pays tribute to law enforcement officers who have been injured or killed in the line of duty.

The Brotherhood for the Fallen is a non-profit organization made up of chapters representing police departments and sheriff’s offices from Chicago, New York, Boston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Aurora, Colorado, Suffolk County, NY, and more. Officers and deputies from the above-listed agencies attend funerals of fallen officers across North America and provided financial support for families of fallen officers.
