Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is pleased to announce that Team Ruger took multiple divisional wins at the 2020 PSA Shootout Knockdown Steel Match held at Palmyra Sportsmen’s Association in Annville, PA.
Dave Olhasso claimed first place in the Pistol Caliber Carbine division with a final time of 52.99 with teammate James McGinty following right behind in second place with a final time of 56.61, both shooting the PC Carbine™ Chassis Model chambered in 9mm Luger.
McGinty also claimed first place in the Open Auto division with a final time of 71.80 and third place in the Stock Auto division with a final time of 89.69 shooting the Ruger Custom Shop® SR1911® Competition Pistol chambered in 9mm Luger.
Competing with the Ruger Custom Shop Super GP100® Competition revolver chambered in 9mm Luger, McGinty won the Open Revolver division and Olhasso finished second in the Stock Revolver division.
“The PSA Shootout format truly stresses the gun and the shooter to perform at their best across six stages of falling steel,” commented Olhasso. “This year, I opted to use my Ruger Pistol Caliber Carbine in the newly offered PCC division which, unlike all other divisions, has no capacity limit. This made the PCC stage times incredibly fast which necessitated that I, and my Ruger PCC, perform flawlessly in order to take first place.”
