A Look Back:

1984 The Christensen family moved back to their hometown in Fayette, UT. Then, they opened up shop providing much-needed employment opportunities to an economically struggling middle Utah.

1993 Roland Christensen, an inventor at heart, worked in the composite industry exploring ways to utilize carbon fiber. He tried everything including carbon fiber arrows, softball bats, knife handles, golf club heads and crossbow limbs. All had their 15 minutes of fame, except one, the destined to be famous carbon fiber rifle barrel.

1995 Christensen Arms was born. They began making 22 LR rifles and then quickly added larger chamberings. The production goal at the time was 20 rifles per week.

2003 Christensen Arms began making the industry’s first aerospace-grade carbon fiber stocks.

2009 Christensen Arms began gaining recognition and moved from Fayette to Gunnison, Utah. Custom carbon replaced the hunter stock, and more stock options became available to the hunting community.

2010 They launched their first modular sporting rifle, the CA-15. With this MSR, the dealers and consumers quickly realized Christensen Arms was more than a barrel company.

2011 Christensen Arms began manufacturing their own receivers.

2012 The first Christensen Arms 1911 handgun launched, with a titanium frame and a true Damascus steel slide.

2017 The first distributors picked up Christensen Arms products. This allowed more gun enthusiasts than ever to have access to their world-class firearms, stocks and barrels.

2020 This year marks their 25th anniversary, and the Modern Precision Rifle (MPR) wins the coveted NRA Golden Bullseye Award.
