SWANSBORO, N.C. –– High Speed Gear® and Comp-Tac® Holsters are pleased to announce that Randy Watt will be joining the team for both brands as a brand ambassador. Currently, the Owner/President of SRW, Inc. and Warrior Creed, Watt brings a surplus of tactical experience and knowledge amongst the law enforcement and military communities, as well as over three decades as an international trainer in weapons and tactics.

Recently retired, Watt served as the Chief of Police of the Ogden, Utah Police Department. Watt served thirty-six years with the police department, filling roles in a multitude of assignments, including lead firearms instructor and as a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics team for 13 years. Watt twice received the department’s Medal of Valor.

In addition to his law enforcement experience, Watt is also retired from the U.S. Army and Utah Army National Guard where he achieved the rank of Colonel. Watt’s final command was as Commander, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), responsible for leading 2,200 Special Forces soldiers stationed across 9 states. Watt has a combined thirty-four years of active duty and National Guard service. His awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal with “V” device, 3 Bronze Star Medals, 3 Meritorious Service Medals, 7 Army Commendation Medals, Combat Infantryman’s Badge, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with 2 stars, Iraq Campaign Medal with 3 stars, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary and Service Medals, and many other awards. He is a Master Parachutist, a Military Freefall Parachutist, and a former instructor for the Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat Course. His leadership development career courses culminated with the U.S. Army War College resident course, Class of 2010.
