Responsible for repairing, maintaining, and fine-tuning injection molds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform specialty operations as requested by mold makers and tool management
  • EDM, Bridgeport, grinding, polishing, etc
  • Help fine-tune molds based on feedback from molding department and requests from mold makers
  • Repair molds based on feedback from molding department
  • Change mold versions
  • T/R housekeeping, keep machine centers and personal tools orderly
  • Notify manager or project manager of any materials or tools required
  • Participate in corrective / preventive action reviews (assist production in troubleshooting)

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of three years injection molding tooling experience
  • Qualified on certain tool room equipment
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Good math skills
  • Strong commitment to quality, productivity and team performance in the workplace
  • Good teamwork, organization and communication skills
  • Must be Fluent in English

Applicants must be a "US person" or equivalent as defined by ITAR regulations to comply with US government export control regulations and requirements for this position. A "US person" is a US Citizen, a Naturalized US Citizen, or a Permanent Alien.
