"Big Mountain Heroes" Film Premieres

NEW YORK –– SOFREP TV is excited to announce the premiere of "Big Mountain Heroes," a documentary following five U.S. Special Operations veterans as they navigate the mountainous terrain of France and cope with the wounds of Post-Traumatic Stress. The film will debut at Tower Theatre in Bend, Oregon on December 16 at 8 p.m. and tickets are on sale now.

"Big Mountain Heroes" is an inspirational and intimate story about a group of Special Operations veterans and how they deal with Post-Traumatic Stress in a positive way. As outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers, the men embark on a once-in-a-lifetime expedition to Chamonix, France where they forge friendships, mutual respect and inspiration for current challenges and those that lie ahead. The footage of these men tackling some of the most beautiful and challenging mountains in the world is second to none. Viewers will be drawn in as they get to know each veteran on a personal level and watch as a brotherhood is formed.

The documentary was successfully funded via a crowdfunded Kickstarter campaign earlier this year, and the trailer can be viewed online. The goal of the film is to bring additional awareness to veteran assistance programs and to show ways veterans are living their life after military service.

"Watching all the work from the team and being involved personally in "Big Mountain Heroes" has been incredibly rewarding," said SOFREP TV founder, CEO and former Navy SEAL Brandon Webb. "When you pour your heart and soul into a project like this, you can't help but be proud of the end result. The entire team has worked tirelessly since day one, and we're excited to finally bring this inspiring and important story to the public. And to the many fans who have contributed financially, we're eternally grateful for your support."

The "Big Mountain Heroes" premiere will include a silent auction, raffle and Q&A session with members of the film. All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle and silent auction will go directly to Central Oregon Avalanche Association and The Red Circle Foundation. The film is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased here. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the film will begin at 8 p.m.
