LTO-Tracker™ Takes Accessory of the Year Honors

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold & Stevens, Inc. has once again been recognized as the Optics Manufacturer of the Year by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) at the body's annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas.

This marks the seventh year in a row that Leupold® has taken the Optics Manufacturer title, or every single year since the award was introduced.

"The fact that this honor comes from our distribution and specialty retail partners makes it especially gratifying to receive," said Bruce Pettet, president and chief executive officer of Leupold & Stevens, Inc. Candidates were evaluated by the wholesaler members on four key criteria: distribution policy; marketing, sales and promotion; logistics and operations; and NASGW and industry support. This comprehensive assessment of manufacturer performance was designed to provide a balanced appraisal that truly recognizes the best of the best according to NASGW distributor members.
In addition, the LTO-Tracker™, Leupold's first product in its new thermal optics line, received the Accessory of the Year honors in the new Caliber Awards. In its first year, the Caliber Awards are voted on by Professional Outdoor Media Association members. This panel of outdoor experts evaluate each candidate for innovation, design, utility and overall performance.
