(HOUSTON, TX) U.S. LawShield, the finest Legal Defense for Self Defense program in the nation, is pleased to be presenting at A Girl and a Gun’s National Conference. The conference will be held in Burnet, Texas on April 18 - 22nd at Reveille Peak Ranch. Emily Taylor, a U.S. LawShield Independent Program Attorney will be speaking on Wednesday April 18th at 11AM.
At the conference, Emily will present an overview of the law of self-defense. She’ll speak on topics including: when and how can you defend yourself against attackers, what weapons are legal to carry, the legal consequences of using force and deadly force in Texas, and an in-depth discussion of Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground laws.
At the conference, attendees can expect training sessions with live-fire pistol, rifle, & shotgun instruction at the range. In addition to simulated training sessions covering the basics of firearms safety and marksmanship, there will also be sessions to teach you how to effectively use gear and equipment for personal defense and/or shooting sports. Participants will also hear from a variety of speakers on relevant topics for women including education, recreation, and competition in today’s shooting world.
