Streamlight Newest Gold Sponsor of 2017 SHOT Show University

NEWTOWN, Conn.-The National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms industry, is pleased to announce that Streamlight has signed on to be a Gold Sponsor of the 2017 SHOT Show University. Founded in 1973, and based in Eagleville, Pennsylvania, Streamlight is a leading manufacturer of premium handheld lighting tools.

"We're thrilled to have Streamlight join us in supporting the 2017 SHOT Show University," said Patrick Shay, NSSF Director, Retail Development. "Today's retailers don't survive on sales of firearms and ammo alone, so having a company whose products also contribute to their success is something we think everyone attending will appreciate."

"Our commitment to our trusted retailers goes beyond our lighting tools," said Streamlight President and Chief Executive Officer Ray Sharrah. "Education has been a long-time cornerstone for our company, and that is why we are so proud to sponsor a leading event like the SHOT Show University. SHOT Show University's seminars and speakers provide the very best in information to help retailers build knowledge to grow their businesses and the marketplace."

SHOT Show University is the firearms industry's premier educational forum for retailers and range owners. Held the day before the show opens, January 16, the event features four learning tracks, including New Operator, ATF Compliance, Range Development and the Master's session designed to address those experienced business owners seeking the latest technology, marketing and business planning information. A top lineup of subject matter experts will address a wealth of topics as diverse as social media, merging and financing considerations, SBA loans for new range development, ATF bookkeeping excellence and payment technologies, among others, offering something for retailers and range owners of all experience levels. You can view the full schedule of courses and classes, including their speakers, on the SHOT Show web site.
