EOTech Seeking Vice President of Sales and Marketing

EOTech, the world's only manufacturer of holographic sighting systems for military, law enforcement and commercial markets is seeking an experienced industry professional to lead their team as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

The EOTech Vice President of Sales & Marketing reports to the company President and is a member of the company's executive team. He/she is independently responsible for the direction and management of all sales and business development operations, including market competitiveness, pricing, compensation, and distribution and channel strategy. The new leader will drive the company's Goals for Sales, Growth and Profit by achieving the annual Order plan and will be responsible for providing executive leadership for in-bound and out-bound marketing activities worldwide, which include: Corporate marketing, partner/channel marketing, product marketing, and product management.

The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the sales and marketing team. Through personal leadership by example, he/she will establish the style and approach which will characterize the Company's dealings with the marketplace and preserve the brand recognition and loyalty of our existing customers.

Responsibilities

· Be a role model and champion for the company culture.

· Define the appropriate sales and marketing organization mix/alignment to the demands of the market, customers and consumers of the products

· Manage the hiring, training and continuous development of a (global) sales organization,

· Establish compensation, training, and sales incentive programs commensurate with achieving company goals

· Create a succession plan for all sales and marketing team members as appropriate

· Drive the development of domestic and international sales strategies.

· Develop, establish, and direct multi-level channel to market strategies

· Develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs.

· Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company's customer base.

· Define new or emerging market requirements/needs that shape new products, upgrade existing products, or establish end of life for products

· Oversee product management including market and customer research for market and product requirements, interface with engineering for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management.

· Oversee product marketing including product launch management, sales training, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.

· Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management.

· Develop pricing policies and strategies, including volume discounts and terms and conditions, for high-profile customers and channel partners.

· Direct multiple market campaigns seamlessly while using acute analytical and strategic skills to successfully guide and assist as needed the closing of major deals.

· Lead strategic planning including corporate positioning market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning.

· Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars and events.

· Lead social media efforts to collect collateral materials, conduct market research, and develop website design and content in support of high visibility/access to company materials, products or information.

· Define and direct marketing campaigns for demand creation, lead generation and for lead tracking and management.

· Develop and manage the Company's entire marketing & sales budget.

· Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.

· Act as spokesperson for the company with press and analysts and at industry events

Essential Job Requirements:

· Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.

· Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.

· Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.

· Exceptional sales track record and founded success in a new product/new market environment.

· Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example

· Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment.

· Demonstrated ability to manage often outsourced marketing activities (PR, corporate marketing, social media, website, etc.)

· Experience with a specific sales methodology, sales funnel management.

· Experience in choosing, deploying and using marketing and sales (globally) CRM tools and applications.

· Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business (competitive) strategy.

· Extremely effective public speaking skills and presence with experience working with business and industry press.

· Understanding of U.S Government export rules and regulations as stipulated by the Department of Commerce's Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Department of State's International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

· Possess a strong bias-for-action, keen focus on external and internal customers, and a team player who can work effectively across functional bounds and manage upward,

· Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.

Education and Experience:
· Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Engineering or other related field;
· Masters or MBA, preferred.
· At least 10-15 years sales experience in comparable industries, with 5+ years in a senior management position; firearms, firearms, accessories, or sporting goods preferred

· Certified in the use of CRM, Sales and Marketing software and tracking tools is desired

· U.S citizenship required
